If you are trying to teach Japanese to beginners then this is a great book to help you teach Japanese. The book is called First Thousand Words in Japanese. You can use this book to teach yourself Japanese or teach your child Japanese. It is a picture book so it is entertaining to learn from. The illustrations are terrific and children will love them. This is an award winning book with 64 colorful pages.
Before learning words, you will learn about Japanese alphabets, writing or signs called Kana. There will be pronunciation tips as well as a complete list of Hirakana and Katakana. Kanji is mentioned briefly to keep things simple. After all, you do not want to confuse a child learning Japanese for the first time.
