Parents usually teach Bible stories to their children at home and teachers also teach Bible stories to kids at school. There are many books that will help parents and teachers but I found the ones below great for children's bible lessons.

This Bible stories set includes:

  • Story of Jesus
  • Family Bible
  • Mini Children's Bible

The whole set retails for $18.99 which is a much better price than if you were to buy each book separately.

The Story of Jesus with CD

The Story of Jesus is a must for anyone trying to learn Bible stories and this book comes with a CD. The book is by Heather Amery, measures 8 3/8 x 8 1/4 inches, has 100 pages and it is great for children of 5 years and up.

This collection of stories about the life of Jesus has been specially written, staying close to the original Bible stories, for young children who are just beginning to read. Charming illustrations, full of historically accurate detail, give clear clues to the words and their meaning. With the help of an adult, new readers will be able to achieve the pleasure and satisfaction of reading a whole story by themselves. This great book retails for $14.99 by itself but as a set of three books, you can get them all for just $18.99. Buy only the Story of Jesus.

Family Bible

This beautifully illustrated collection of Bible stories introduces readers of all ages to some of the oldest and greatest stories ever told, and will be a book to treasure for always. This book by H. Amery and E. Temporin retails for $12.95 by itself but as a set, you can get all three books of Bible stories for just $18.99. Buy only Family Bible.

Mini Children's Bible

The best-known and best-loved stories from the Old and New Testaments have been chosen for this retelling of the Bible for young children. Staying close to the traditional text, the stories are presented in a way that young listeners and young readers will find easy to understand and enjoy. This book will be a source of lasting interest and pleasure for the whole family. This book is very cute with great illustrations and it retails for $8.95 by itself. However, as a set of three Bible stories, you get all three books for $18.99 which is why this Bible stories set is such a great deal! Buy only Mini Children's Bible.

If you want to save money and buy all three books as a set, you will save $17.90 (pay $18.99 instead of $36.89) - that's almost half price!

Welcome to Teachers’ Resource Books!

Teachers are always looking for deals on books and educational, teaching resources. Having to purchase books and other teaching materials can be expensive which is why I think that this blog will be useful and will help teachers and parents. I will be posting so many great deals on many books and other teaching materials including homeschooling materials.

Before I go on to talk about specific books, let me introduce you to two things that may be helpful and possibly fun to do:

1) Register for a $50 Monthly Drawing of Free Books

Right now, every month, you can register for a free drawing of $50 worth of free books. This monthly drawing is provided by Usborne Books and More. They have lots of educational books for children from months old to school ages. Register for free books. If you have already registered this month, you can register again next month for the drawing - even if you won this month! I like this drawing very much because it does not take much time to register and you could receive $50 worth of books for free! And, unlike most online drawings, you will never be asked to provide any personal information other than your name and where to send the books. You will also never be asked to sign up for any free trials.

2) Making a Wishlist

make-book-wishlist

Another thing you can do is to make a book wish list. You can create an account for free and then browse the books. If you find something that you like, add to your wish list. You never know when someone might help you get the books that you wish for! It is a great way to keep track of what books are of interest to you. So, next time, you come back to the site, you know what you have already looked at. I find this wishlist very useful. Have you ever put things in your shopping cart online and then decide that you do not want to buy yet and leave the site? The problem is that next time you log in, your list might be gone. Most websites save the shopping cart list for just a few days or weeks at the most and then they will be deleted. But, if you have a wish list, you know that it will always be there for you.
